As a kid in New York City, I use to play tackle football on the streets. Our playgrounds were nightmares of steel and concrete. Look at the picture I’ve provided above. I don’t know how I survived with most of my teeth and skin. I want to protect our kids from unsafe streets, bad water, no parks. If a parent wants their child to play tackle football, they must know the risks and if they still want their kid to play and the child wants to play, I would not want to get in the way. That is my first impression of this bill: a little too intrusive in what should be a parent’s decision.
